Carolina Cares
Carolina Cares Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of all people with food insecurity living in Wake County and the surrounding communities in North Carolina. The organization is 100% volunteer operated, relies 100% on donations, and is not funded by any other institutions.
A Place at the Table
Raleigh’s only pay-what-you-can cafe that provides community and healthy food for all regardless of means. Serving a full menu of chef-prepared Breakfast and Lunch all day. Folks may also choose to volunteer in the café for a meal as a way of payment.
Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina
Among the largest anti-hunger organizations in the U.S., the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina works every day to provide food to people in need while advancing long-term solutions to end hunger in our communities.
InterAct
The only provider of domestic violence & sexual assault services in Wake County, NC. Local services offered include 24-hour crisis hotline, court advocacy, individual & group counseling, emergency shelter, and more.
Fairway Cares
Fairway Cares is the charitable arm of Fairway Independent Mortgage. Fairway and its employees across the nation have been able to provide care and support for those families who have experienced hardships and loss in the form of personalized care packages and financial support.
Samaritan’s Purse
Samaritan’s Purse is an international organization that provides aid to victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine. Despite their large national foodprint, Samaritan Purse’s Headquarters is based in the small NC mountain town of Boone.
The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army offers practical assistance for children and families, often tending to the basic necessities of life, providing shelter for homeless people and rehabilitation for people who have lost control of their lives to an addiction.
WakEd Partnership
A unique, independent nonprofit committed to improving public education and advocating for excellent educational opportunities for all students. WakeEd Partnership’s Tools4Schools store provides FREE classroom supplies for nearly 11,000 teachers in NC’s largest school district to ensure that all students in the Wake County Public School System have the supplies they need to focus on learning.
American Warrior Initiative (AWI)
A nonprofit organization backed by Fairway whose mission is to educate, encourage, and inspire Americans to give back to our military. In addition to serving our wounded heroes through the gifting of service dogs, business grants, home upgrades, mortgage-free housing, and more, a key part of AWI’s initiative is educating real estate agents & mortgage professionals on how to serve our military clientele with excellence.
